The Burg: Deep Dive
The Burg Wallet is the most minimalist wallets we design. It also happens to be the first wallet we tried to make. Why? Because it is a small, wrapped design that I could attempt with my first leather order - not screw it up, and create a functional and sleek every day carry piece.
While the Burg is one of the simplest products we make, it still packs a functionality punch in terms of being an efficient every day carry piece.
- So what is The Burg
- It is named for Edinburg, Texas
- If you haven’t been on the dosrosdesigns.myshopify.com website to check out the blog on the meaning of the product names, be sure to check that out - because there is a little methodology to the madness.
- But this is the Burg Wallet
- It is a singular sleeve.
- It can come in a double sleeve.
- Show the comparison.
- It is an everyday carry piece.
- It is a front or back pocket carry.
- For a long time I used this as my everyday carry piece.
- I don’t carry much with me daily
- Debit, credit, folded cash when I carry cash, and that isn’t that often.
- It works for an easy and minimalist EDC.
- COVID hit and I found myself carrying a few more things
- Insurance cards
- Cash...a little more often, but I hate carrying cash, so I still don’t carry it as often as I should.
